Role Summary 

The AI Ops Lead is accountable for reengineering and replacing business processes with AI‑enabled workflows across G&A and customer‑facing operations. This role focuses on turning manual, repetitive, and decision‑heavy work into standardized, AI‑augmented operating systems that improve speed, quality, and cost. 

What You’ll Do

  • Map and redesign end‑to‑end workflows across Finance, HR, Legal, RevOps, Customer Operations, and Compliance to remove manual steps and decision bottlenecks using AI. 

  • Build and deploy AI‑enabled workflows using off‑the‑shelf AI tools, agent platforms, automation, copilots, document intelligence, and workflow orchestration tools. 

  • Create reusable AI playbooks, including prompts, agent instructions, SOPs, exception handling, and human‑in‑the‑loop approval patterns. 

  • Own adoption and change management: train teams, drive behavior change, and embed AI into daily work—not as pilots, but as production systems. 

  • Establish governance for business AI, including data handling, permissions, audit trails, risk controls, and quality checks aligned with company policies and compliance needs. 

  • Measure outcomes such as cycle‑time reduction, error rates, capacity freed, customer impact, and ROI—then iterate continuously. 

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) 

  • A prioritized pipeline of high‑impact processes with clear ROI cases. 

  • Multiple production workflows redesigned with AI and measurable capacity gains. 

  • Consistent standards for safe and effective AI use across business functions. 

  • High adoption of AI‑enabled workflows with low rework and strong business confidence.

Qualifications 

  • 6+ years’ experience in operations, business systems, process improvement, RevOps, FP&A, compliance operations, or transformation roles. 

  • Demonstrated success simplifying and automating workflows using structured systems thinking (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, or equivalent). 

  • Hands‑on experience applying AI in business processes, including LLMs, copilots, agentic workflows, document automation, and knowledge retrieval. 

  • Strong stakeholder leadership skills with the ability to influence executives and frontline teams and translate ambiguity into execution. 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in regulated environments such as financial services, SOC 2, or privacy‑heavy operations. 

  • Familiarity with business tooling ecosystems (CRM, ticketing, HRIS, finance systems, document management) and how processes flow across them.
